The Rolling Antiquers Old Car Club offers two scholarship awards of $1,000. each year to two deserving senior BOCES students who have an interest in furthering their education in the automotive field or a career in the automotive industry.

One award is given to a senior student from the Automotive Technology Program and one award for a senior student from the Automotive Collision Program.

Each recipient will receive either a monetary award or a set of tools of equal value. If the award - winning senior intends to go to work in the automotive repair industry after high school graduation, the award shall be a set of tools. If it is the intention of the award - winning senior to go on to post-secondary education a monetary award shall be given and directed to the college of choice.

Applicants must submit all the forms and required documentation to the BOCES Administrative Office during the first week in May of the school year. The BOCES awards committee will make a recommendation to the BOCES Principle no later than the 15th of May. Students may obtain the necessary forms and paperwork to apply for a scholarship from the BOCES School Principle.

After awards are announced the RAOCC Scholarship co-chairs will verify that award winners have either been accepted at a institution of higher learning or have been accepted into an automotive work place.

Upon verification, the monetary award will be sent to the selected institution of higher education. The tool set award will be presented directly to the student by the RAOCC Scholarship co-chairs.
